About
About ForeGlass
ForeGlass is a public forecast ledger: predictions sealed with a cryptographic hash before the fact they predict is knowable, then checked in the open against published statistics and scored without edits. ForeGlass is a property of Comuvia LLC, which runs the ForeGlass Engine behind it and the site you are reading now.
What a sealed forecast is
Before an outcome is known, ForeGlass commits to a specific, checkable prediction and publishes its SHA-256 hash, the source it will be checked against, and the date the question resolves. That commitment is time-anchored with an OpenTimestamps proof, so the seal date does not rest on ForeGlass's word. When the resolving statistic is published, the forecast is graded by a fixed rule and the result — hit, miss, or not yet gradable — is published identically either way.
What the record does and does not show
The public ledger is a record of what was committed in advance and how it scored against one stated rule. It is not independently audited, it is not a trading signal, and a short track record does not establish long-run skill. The underlying model is an accounting-consistent economic simulator, not a statistically validated forecasting system: its scenarios make assumptions explicit so they can be checked and disagreed with, rather than claiming to see the future. Read the Verification Explorer for the full ledger and its methodology, and Pricing for what is free and what the Desk adds.
