Privacy Notice

Foreglass is a public forecast ledger published by Comuvia LLC. This notice explains what personal information the foreglass.ai website collects, why, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can, we use it only for the purpose you gave it for, and we do not sell it.

1. Who we are

Foreglass is a property of Comuvia LLC, a New York limited liability company (the "Company," "we," "us"). For any privacy question, or to exercise the choices below, contact info@comuvia.com. This notice covers the foreglass.ai website; other Comuvia properties may publish their own notices.

2. What we collect, and why

a. If you ask for the first grading result (the signup form)

When you ask us to tell you how the first sealed forecasts scored, we collect your email address and, optionally, how you heard about us. We use it for one purpose only: to send you the notification you asked for — one email, on or shortly after the first public grading, linking to the ledger so you can check the result. No newsletter, no marketing, no product mail.

Signup is double opt-in: after you submit an address we email you a confirmation link, and nothing further is ever sent unless you click it. If you do not confirm, the pending request is deleted automatically after 7 days. We store your address as a one-way cryptographic hash for lookup and de-duplication, keeping the readable address only where it is needed to send the mail. We give the same on-screen response whether or not an address is already on the list, so the form cannot be used to discover who has signed up.

b. If you send a suggestion or correction (the feedback form)

When you suggest a dataset, ask a question, or flag a correction, we receive the message you write, an optional email address if you want a reply, how you heard about us, and basic context such as which page you sent it from. It goes to a private human inbox and a records store. Nothing you submit is ever published — the sealed ledger is a closed record, and the feedback channel cannot write to it.

c. When you simply visit

Like almost every website, our servers automatically record standard technical information for each request — your IP address, browser type (user-agent), the page that referred you, and the time — so we can operate, secure, and debug the service. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you or to advertise to you. foreglass.ai does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

3. Legal bases (for visitors in the EU / UK)

• Consent — the grading-result signup. You may withdraw it at any time (see §6).
• Legitimate interests — responding to feedback you send us, and keeping secure server logs, balanced against your privacy.

4. How it is stored and who processes it

We use Microsoft Azure to store submissions and Azure Communication Services to send email, hosted in the United States. Microsoft acts as our processor. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing, and we use no advertising or analytics brokers on this site. Feedback notifications are delivered to a Comuvia LLC inbox that is read manually.

5. How long we keep it

• Unconfirmed signups — deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Confirmed signups — kept until the notification has been sent and you have not asked to be removed; you can be removed at any time on request.
• Feedback — kept as a business record for as long as it is useful, then deleted.
• Server logs — kept for a limited operational period, then rotated out.

6. Your choices and rights

Email info@comuvia.com to ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to be removed from the grading-result list. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the EU/UK GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) or the California CCPA/CPRA (know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" — which we do not do). We will not discriminate against you for exercising them, and we will respond within the time the applicable law requires.

7. International visitors

Our servers are in the United States. If you contact us or sign up from outside the U.S., including the EU, the UK, or India, you understand that the information you send is processed in the United States.

8. Children

Foreglass is a service for professionals and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information if you are under 16.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service changes. When we do, we revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, note it on the site. Publishing when something changes — not on a schedule — is how we run every dated thing here.
